What is OSOB?

This amazing reading program is the ONE time each year when ALL RRO and MACC students and families have the opportunity to read the SAME book each night, altogether as a community.

Be sure to tune into this tab to find all of the information you’ll need for this event. Here you’ll find a read aloud of each chapter by a mystery reader from RRO or the MACC, as well as trivia questions for the chapters. .… and don’t forget the prizes! That’s right boys and girls; each morning, trivia question winners will be announced as we read this amazing book as a school. We will also have additional resources on this tab to learn more about topics that are discussed in this year’s book. Let’s do this, RRO and the MACC!

The World According to Humphrey by Betty G. Birney

A favorite Read to Them title, The World According to Humphrey is sure to provide your families with a fun and memorable reading experience. Humphrey is the class pet in Mrs. Brisbane’s Room 26 at Longfellow School. He loves to be helpful, especially when he travels home for the weekend with his human friends. Come along with Humphrey as he opens the lock-that-doesn’t-lock on his hamster cage and gently guides children and adults alike.
